[DVD] w-inds. Live Tour 2009 Sweet Fantasy in Hong Kong

Finally have received my DVD! This is their 8th concert and also their first concert in Hong Kong. Lucky Hong Kong fans they’ve been waiting for 9 years for w-inds. to come to Hong Kong to open a concert. 

w-inds. concert has never been bad to me because I simply enjoy Keita’s voice so much even though now I’m spazzing over the Korean boys most of the time. Is it just me or what I think w-inds. concert are getting more simpler. Like they don’t have anything special other than singing and dancing (which the most important thing in a concert but sometimes I would wish to have something surprising), also the clothing seem lesser this time. But to compare this back to the Seventh Ave. one I liked Sweet Fantasy more.

[PV] w-inds. – New World + Truth ~Saigo no Shinjitsu~

I know I’m slowly drifting off Jpop and my favorite band w-inds. but no matter what w-inds. is still my favorite. Feeling bad that I was late on seeing their new PVs even though I had already heard a bit of New World before.

It’s great to see w-inds. having new things. New World, is the new world they’re in full of non-Asian? As can be seen in the PV. OMG! Keita with the curly bangs, he looks like a foreigner, you know those in animes. The PV is really cool, at least I don’t think they ever had that much people featuring in their PV (probably except for Yakusoku no Kakera).  Although the whole PV is cool but it’s very typical, so I didn’t get the really excited feel. I’m glad that w-inds. are trying out new things even though they have been debuted for 9 years, their dance is so what different from their usual style which is good. Song wise I think I might get addicted to this song after a few more listen.

This is no doubt would become one of my favorite PV from w-inds. It’s a whole new style and they have never filmed a PV like this before. As w-inds. was opening their Sweet Fantasy concert at Hong Kong they filmed this during there. I so LOVE this PV! Simply because it’s fun as they are having fun filming while the Hong Kong fans are the background in some of the scenes which I find it hilarious. Glad that they didn’t just put all the behind the scene footage in one as a PV. I also love this song because it’s light-hearted and happy, it makes me feel happier after listening to it.

[PV] w-inds. – HYBRID DREAM

Another new PV from w-inds., this PV is the B side from the same single as “Rain is fallin'”. “Hybrid Dream” is totally different from “Rain is fallin'”. Although I really love the animation in “Hybrid Dream” PV but they over did it which made me kind of dizzy while watching it. The song itself is lovely, loved Keita’s voice!

[PV] w-inds. – Rain is Fallin’ ft. G-Dragon (Big Bang)

The PV of this has finally released, I think I’m already addicted to this song. As expected w-inds. never disappoint me with their new songs. I was glad to see w-inds. trying out a different style and I do like the electric music. GD’s rapping was great but Keita’s singing was better to me.

The PV has a raving and disco feel. The bad thing was that there’s not much of clear close up of Ryuichi and Ryohei so fans of Big Bang will probably think w-inds. is only 1 person. They even wore hat and sunglasses which makes us can’t identify who is who. The last minute of the PV was very repetitive and it was a one take shot of the dance. Even though someone said that you’ll see of effects if you wear the 3D glasses but I don’t have any.

Overall I like the song but the PV is alright, I’m looking forward to a live of this and hope they won’t wear anything weird.

w-inds. Collaborating with Big Bang’s G-Dragon!

I think I haven’t been this excited about w-inds.’s new single for a long time, it has been decided that w-inds. next single will be released on 13th May, a double-a side “Rain is fallin’ / HYBRID DREAM”.

It is also confirmed that G-Dragon from Big Bang is rapping a part in “Rain is fallin'” and GD will be a cameo in the PV as well. This is exciting to see 2 groups I love collaborating together in a song. I’ve always knew that Keita liked Big Bang because he mention it in his blog. In Big Bang’s official ameblo blog, it seem like GD is also happy to be invited to collaborate with w-inds. This is the first collaboration that w-inds. is doing for their single and it’s a great chance to Korean fans and Japanese fans to know more about these two groups.

w-inds. Live Tour 2008 Seventh Ave.

I have finally brought my copy of “w-inds. Live Tour 2008 Seventh Ave.” DVD, stupid Yesasia guy who lied to me that there wasn’t Chinese subtitles for the Taiwanese copy. So this concert includes 3 DVDs and it’s packed like a box set which is very nice. The 1st DVD includes the live concert at Budokan, 2nd DVD is the documentary and the 3rd one is the live concert at Yoyogi.

[TV Show] Keita Tachibana @ uchuude ichiban aitai hito 2008.11.21

I haven’t watching a lot of TV shows with w-inds. during this year as I find myself getting bored of watching something which I completely don’t understand.

So it was great that I came across the “uchuude ichiban aitai hito” show where Keita is the guest. After watching it I feel like I know more about the Keita now, he sure has matured a lot but still remain his cuteness.

[PV] w-inds. – CAN’T GET BACK

Before I posted about w-inds. Everyday PV and now it’s their 2nd PV for their 25th single “CAN’T GET BACK”. I’ve already commented on the song on the other post where I posted their live of “CAN’T GET BACK”. So here I’m just going to comment about the PV only.

This is something new and different that they haven’t done before. Basically the camera just sit there and there’s no angle taken. The camera just moves left or right nothing other than that. If it wasn’t the computer effects it would look really plain.

[jmusic] M-ist – Forever the Moment～永遠の一瞬～

Anyone still remember M-ist? 
It’s a trio boyband that I posted about it before if you forget about then read back this post.  

I was bored so I started searching random things on youtube again and I found out that they have a new song called “Forever the Moment～永遠の一瞬～”. Although it’s only 1:30mins so far but this song sounded much better than their first song.

Once again, they look like mini w-inds. the part where they dance on the grass is so much like Hanamuke, also their dressing as well! The left is like Ryuichi with the white hat (I remember Ryuichi wore a hat like that before), then the middle is obvious like Keita tall and skinny with the boots, then the right one is Ryohei with the hip hop look.

They are really cute! I hope I could find the full version of it.

[live] w-inds. – (Asia Song Festival) Can’t Get Back

After gaining back a little bit of w-inds. fandom from last night I have been crazily searching for their Asia Song Festival live because they sang Can’t Get Back, which is the 2nd song for their upcoming new single.

It did took me a great amount of time to finally find the download link for Can’t Get Back live at Asia Song Festival. I guess that did show about the popularity and fandom they have now.

I’m not sure how to explain this type of genre of music but I quite like the song. I think it has a nice beat and it’s pretty easy to get in the head. I like the start of the song more it just has a better feel to it. It’s been awhile since I see a performance from w-inds. because before they were busy with the summer tour and they hardly perform now. They still stuck to the suit clothing style and Keita still has the hat style but I’m glad he didn’t have those short pants. The dance wasn’t that special but I don’t see much of the dance anyway because the cameraman focus on Keita all the way and Keita doesn’t dance. Not that I mind because Keita is my favorite but some fans would complain.

Overall I love this performance a lot and was happy to hear the fans screaming as they are performing in Korea not Japan.

I’m now a little excited about Can’t Get Back PV, hope it’s something surprising or new style.
