I have finally brought my copy of “w-inds. Live Tour 2008 Seventh Ave.” DVD, stupid Yesasia guy who lied to me that there wasn’t Chinese subtitles for the Taiwanese copy. So this concert includes 3 DVDs and it’s packed like a box set which is very nice. The 1st DVD includes the live concert at Budokan, 2nd DVD is the documentary and the 3rd one is the live concert at Yoyogi.
Each DVD has each member as the cover.
I wasn’t surprise nor that much of a disappointment in this concert, basically it’s similar to all their other concerts. But I enjoy the Yoyogi concert more than the Budokan one as the Yoyogi concert has some newer songs like Everyday and Can’t Get Back and some nice older songs being sang. They have a dance bridge each member is separated. Keita did a krump dance, a dance that can show off his muscles, it’s similar to last year except that it’s more improve. As usual Ryohei did break dancing, the Yoyogi one was actually more interesting. Ryuichi for the first time I see him doing poppin.
Costume wise, it seem like they decrease the amount of costumes. Usually they would change after 2 or 3 songs after the start of concert but for this concert they changed after the 7th song. All the other costume were pretty simple as well and there was 1 costume which didn’t look good on Keita as it makes him look big and fat.
The documentary was like usual where they show their rehearsal from each places, I got a little bored of it half way through as they practically show the same kind of thing throughout each places.
Overall the concert was okay I prefer the Yoyogi one more than the Budokan one. I feel like w-inds. could do something different next time and make it a lot more interesting.
