What actually caught my attention in this drama at first was Jae Joong, not that I’m a fan of DBSK nor Jae Joong but since it’s his first drama I guess I’ll take a look at it and the drama itself seem promising as it also starring Eita and Ueno, the two from Last Friends.
This drama revolves around 5 youngsters who met through Twitter and became real friends. I like how they adapted to the new trend in this drama as Twitter is becoming a popular thing in Japan (I don’t think the Japanese uses Facebook). The 5 meet and somehow all of them are lying to one another and being dishonest. Such as Nakaji who is a photographer for a adult gravure magazines and does assistant jobs. Doctor takes on the persona of a doctor on Twitter, when he is actually working at a company that sells medical equipment to disinterested doctors.
The first episode is mainly the introduction of the characters and probably a start to head towards their secrets and inner feelings. We also go to see that Haru has develop an interest or feeling towards Nakaji, as she mention that the start that she clicks in with him more. The both seem to have develop some feelings towards each other as Nakaji decided to be honest with Haru, saying how he wants to be real friends with her.
On the other side, Doctor also likes Haru since he took a photo only of Haru when he was taking the group photo. In the first episode it is revealed that he is treated very harshly in work and has a sister to support.
Linda, who works in a magazine is being blackmailed into sexual favours by his chief editor. In order to be the director the only choice was to do what his chief editor wants him to do.
Haru who is a temporary high school teacher is also not doing well with teachers and students complaining. Haru’s best friend Hikari is in a status where she’s pregnant who cannot contact his boyfriend.
It seem like it’s going to be a love triangle between Haru, Najaji and Doctor. It was mention a few times about Nakaji’s girlfriend which appeared twice in this episode, there seem to be something that Nakaji is hiding where he doesn’t admit that his girlfriend. The tattoo is probably a hint to something where it might stands for their deeply, passionate love they once had.
Ending the episode with Haru meeting Nakaji’s girlfriend face-to-face at Nakaji’s place. The first episode unfolds each character’s own problems, this drama should be a lot more interesting when things are slowly opening up.
