The fight between Makiko and her mother-in-law continues in this episode, as expected the mother-in-law continues to reveal Makiko’s true face while Makiko just want her to be out of her sight. Somehow I feel sorry for Naoki as he’s like being used by Makiko where he has to do all the house work and he doesn’t even know Makiko’s true face.
The mother-in-law sneaking into Naoki’s house and saw all the mess that hasn’t been clean up, thought that dragging his husband to the house would reveal Makiko’s true nature but she never thought of that Yoko came to do all the house work. Once again she failed to reveal Makiko’s true nature. The fight continues on where the mother-in-law coming up to their house and decorating their house differently and Makiko just turn it back to normal. It went back and forward 2 or 3 times until Makiko faking a cry to Naoki so that Naoki can ask his mother to stop it.
In the meantime Naoki’s mother trying to seek information of what Makiko is like at home from Yoko and bribing her by giving her pocket money. Also Makiko is giving Yoko extra money so that she would do things for her. So Yoko is earning a lot of money from them two also her part-time job as a pet sitter.
In this episode we get to see Naoki’s little brother Hiroshi, who didn’t make it to university after 3 tries. His dream of being a photographer was not agreed from his parent which is the reason why their relationship is bad.
So the things that Naoki’s mother brought to the house was being sold online by Yoko, one of the calligraphy done by Naoki’s father was put online. This made Naoki’s parent angry and Naoki’s mother thought this time her husband would realise what kind of person Makiko is. But instead of being angry Naoki’s father thanked Makiko as he saw the amount of money that calligraphy worth. Afterward Naoki’s father got to show his calligraphy for a book cover and Hiroshi’s photo was used as the cover. This made Naoki’s father agreed to Hiroshi’s dream and their relationship has gotten better. Once again Makiko did something bad but turned out to be good to others. But poor Yoko who’s stuck in the middle of her sister and Naoki’s mother the whole way through.
As for Riku, there was a cute scene of Yoko and Riku together at the temple. I think this might be the start of their relationship. Just from the part where Riku hold Yoko’s hand to calm her down from the thunder.
It gotten a little boring by now just not as funny as the start of the drama. But it should come to an end soon. I want to see more of Yoko and Riku moments, hopefully there’s some in the next episode.
