Haven’t been watching my jdramas much recently, watching too much American dramas in the mean time. So I’m back to posting more of Gokusen 3 which left off at episode 2. The more I watch Gokusen the more it doesn’t interest me much anymore, too predictable and the story is so similar to season 1 & 2. If the story fails to interest me then it would goes to the guys but I don’t especially like any of the guys. But I don’t like leaving things un-finish so I’ll continue it and watch it as something for relaxing.
After episode 2 the two gang has made up and now they began a group of 6. Episode 3 will focus on Ichi, it reveals that he was a former student of Aoshiba Gakuen, the school where students known as brainiacs. But unfortunately brainiac kids doesn’t know how to appreciate and respect people, they think they have the power to decide if that person is worth living. So they started to bash up random people who they think they deserve it as a gang.
Trouble comes even Ichi tries to avoid it, Ichi and Kura came across Tagasuki and his friends. They started looking down saying how they don’t have a future. Kura was angry and was about to hit him but was stopped by Ichi and instead it turned out that Ichi hit him. The it was all the school issue afterward, then Ichi founds out that the gang who goes off bashing random people was students from Aoshiba Gakuen. So he ended up in a fight with Aoshiba Gakuen’s student, Yankumi and the others came and Yankumi saves the day by beating them up.
Episode 4 was another episode focus of Ren as his sister appears. It then shows what kind of relationship they are in, which is not that great. And discovers that Ren’s sister personality is a bit like Yankumi. So Ren thinks that he’s a burden to his sister in getting marry so he wanted to earn money and lives by himself. He then gets into another trouble as he punched one of the police, because of this issue it leads him to leaving the school. After another scold from Yankumi he realise what he has been doing was wrong and his sister really loves him. He then runs off to apologize to the principle and made up with his sister although he still refuse to show his real emotion.
Episode 5 focus on Kengo as his dad was hospitalized and he had to look after his dad’s tofu shop. He then realise the money he stole from his dad was the money to pay the bills. Knowing that Kengo is short in money the whole class 3D helps to earn money but fails. Kengo bumped into a senpai of his and his senpai is willing to lend him money but first he had to sign something. So when Kengo and Yankumi meet up again saying the truth that he actually spent his dad’s money and was in need money. Yankumi went off scolding him telling him how hard it is to earn money and should be honest and tell his dad. Kengo thought throughly about it and decided to return the money, the others know and tagged along with him. Of course money wasn’t that easy be lend, it was a trap to cheat money off little high schoolers. They ended up fighting each other and before they get beaten down Yankumi arrived. As usual she’s there to protect her lovely kids.
There’s a part in this episode which I find it funny. It was the part where Minoru and Testu were stalking Yankumi meeting Natsume sensei and was spotted by Natsume, they were invited to drink together. As previous seasons we know that the ladies, Aya & Aki gets attracted by them two. But the thing I find it funny was the part where Aki finds Minoru look likes her dog Lucky. By then Yankumi and Testu started calling him Lucky. I find this part amusing because I also started calling a friend Lucky recently and the name Lucky just sounds so much of a dog name.
That’s my review of these 3 episodes. Continue on the other episodes later.
