[jdrama] Ghost Friends – Episode 08

Although this episode doesn’t have much of a story but all the hand touching, hugging and kissing made it a great episode. There’s a lot of cute Kaito and Asuka moments in this episode which was what I was looking forward to. So screen caps are mostly of the couple.

After Kaito expressed his feeling towards Asuka in the previous episode, Asuka has fallen in the love illness where all she does is think about Kaito.

Since Kaito have decided to give up convincing Misora to follow him, Kaito faced the problem of having his body and spirit disappear. As what the kimono lady said the body that Kaito borrowed has a time limit and if he couldn’t bring back Misora within that time limit his body and spirit will disappear forever in this world.

Misora appeared and asked “Should I go with you?” Kaito just walked pass Misora and said “Just do whatever you like.”

Asuka’s father suddenly went to India to purchase some ingredients and Takeshi warned Asuka to be careful as he saw the news that many high school students have been kidnapped. Asuka’s phone rang it was from Kaito, she took some time and had a thought whether she should pick it up or not I guess she don’t know how to face Kaito after the new relationship they have gone to.

I find this part is weird and the girl is VERY weird. She suddenly gave Kaito some pills for not getting drunk and forced Kaito to step back by asking him to drink with her. Then suddenly said “No, you can’t be in a hurry. That’s sexual harassment.” WFT! Have no idea what was this for, but Kaito’s expression was priceless.

Takeshi visited Ayaka’s resturant and invited Ayaka to the movies with him. As he kneeled down in public Ayaka accepted his date.

Kaito supposely to find Asuka at Ayaka’s resturant but instead he saw two ghosts following Takeshi. He also heard that they are going to kidnap Takeshi so he followed them. They all followed Takeshi and when Kaito found the house familiar he figure out that’s Asuka’s house as well. The two ghost got in some random bodies and made an excuse to get in Takeshi’s house.

Just when Takeshi was about to be kidnap Kaito came in and saved him. Just after when the ghost ran off Kaito fainted from head ache pain. But before Kaito fainted he told Takeshi not to call the police until Asuka comes back.

I love the phyiscal contact they have in this screen cap, Asuka caressing Kaito’s face ♥ Kaito told Asuka that the kidnapping just happened could be related to the kidnapping that was on the news. To protect Takeshi, Kaito and Asuka stayed up together to be the security guard.

This was one of my favorite KaitoXAsuka scene in this episode. Kaito honestly told his body situation to Asuka although Asuka was extremely worried but Kaito has decided to spend the remaining time with Asuka.

To protect Takeshi’s safety Asuka and Kaito followed him and was surprise that he’s dating Ayaka.

During the wait at the cinema, there was a bit of awkwardness between the two when they discover the differences they have between a human and a ghost. How Kaito doesn’t have taste buds and a cold body. The two continued to follow them and it seem like they are on a date.

This scene was really cute, the two eating together and exchanging foods. The awkwardness that happened before was gone and they are now more comfortable with each other. It was so cute when Kaito start calling Asuka instead of Asuka-chan and commanding Asuka to call him Kaito instead of Kaito-san. By calling each other by names only it means that their relationship has gotten closer.

More cute scene of KaitoXAsuka. In this part their relationship suddenly changed so much, it’s the playful and sweet type of feeling I get.

Takeshi finally confessed to Ayaka but was rejected as there’s a big age gap between them.

Although they are holding hands now but isn’t that a bit too far from each other? It just feels a bit weird.

While they departed Kaito meet Misora, Misora said “There’s something I forgot to tell you, good-bye.” But to me it seem like Misora is not going to let go of Kaito that easily.

Just after Misora said good-bye Kaito heard Asuka screaming and immediately went to save her. The same guys who tried to kidnap Takeshi has changed their target and try to kidnap Asuka. This time it seem like they were ordered to kidnap Asuka. Could it be Misora?

During Asuka’s helpless moment Kaito said “Don’t worry I’ll protect you” and then they kissed!!!

It seem the drama is ending soon and next episode seem to be more dramatic with more actions. I have a feeling that the kidnapping was done by Misora or it must have something to do with her. Can’t wait to see the next episode!
