[jdrama] Ghost Friends – Episode 07

I WANT TO SEE EPISODE 8 SO BADLY!!! This episode was interesting; we get to know more of Misora’s feelings and why she makes Kaito chasing her around.

The summaries for this episode is a bit long as some parts need to be detail for a better understanding of the storyline.

Continuing from previous episode, Asuka encounter a ghost who wants to get attention from the humans. Since nobody can see her and Asuka loves to help out ghosts so Asuka approached her. Although it gets pretty annoying whenever Asuka meet a new ghost friend they would say “You can see me?” but I guess in reality that’s how they would react. Asuka was told to follow the ghost, Kei, and she brought Asuka to the place where her sister wants to suicide.

Asuka saved Kei’s sister Shizuka from jumping off the bridge onto the rail track. Shizuka wasn’t thankful at all and just ran off. Kei begged Asuka to help her sister to live back to her normal life.

Kei started to talk about her story, their parents died in an airplane accident and the two have been taking care of each other throughout the years. Life was pretty difficult for them so Shizuka plan to give up university to work, so that their life can be better. Unfortunately Kei died and Shizuka was all depressed and trying to give up in living. When Asuka ask how Kei died, she couldn’t remember a thing.

We need a lot more smile and laugh from Kaito-san!

The old lady in kimono came to Kaito’s working place to see him. Kaito questioned himself why he is chasing after Misora and think maybe it’s because of responsibility. He commented that Asuka is always so honest and straight forward. The old lady asked him “Do you like her?” Kaito didn’t actually reply instead he said he still remember the purpose of coming back here. So I think Kaito already likes Asuka as he said “I don’t want to pull her in this situation”. He said that when times come he would disappear from her.

Kaito told Asuka that if the memory was too sad, some ghosts would purposely block and forget it. That is why Kei couldn’t remember how she died. Kaito took out an article about a school girl died in a railway accident. They need to know why Kei died to help out Shizuka and Asuka remembered Shizuka’s birthday is coming soon so Kaito suggested to held a birthday party for her.

Asuka and her friends stumble at Shizuka’s house to celebrate her birthday. Everyone was trying to cheer her up, out of guilty Shizuka started crying and admit that she killed Kei. So now its Shizuka’s to tell her part of the story.

Kei and Shizuka both liked the same guy, Atsu which is their childhood friend and helped them a lot when their parents died. One day Kei told Shizuka that she’s having a date with Atsu. Shizuka was jealous and when Atsu called in to change the meeting place, she purposely directs her sister to another place, the railway that she died.

Kaito and Asuka remember there’s a bunch of ghosts at that railway place, so the three of them went and ask if they saw Kei on that day. They finally found out that it wasn’t Shizuka’s fault that Kei died because Kei already knows Shizuka lied before she was dead.

They had to find Atsu to get things cleared up as Atsu moved to another place. But Kei only remembered the place where Atsu moved to so one by one Kaito visited all the boys’ school there to find him. Not much luck for Kaito and Kei was panicking and thought of getting inside Ayaka’s body so that she could tell the truth to her sister herself. Kaito went mad and started screaming at her to not to do such thing.

This part is quite important in understanding more of Misora’s feelings. So Kaito found Misora at the roof top, Misora was happy to see Kaito until she saw Asuka coming. Kaito questioned her “Did you taught Kei how to get inside humans?” Misora replied “Is that all you can ask? How come you never ask why I do that?” She then continues to question Kaito “When was the last time we kissed? Must be so long ago that you can’t remember.” Misora then sarcastically said “Let’s kiss; I get in Asuka’s body and kiss, this way Asuka is happy too.” Seeing how Kaito react Misora questioned Kaito again “Did you come chasing after me because of responsibility or love?” Misora then disappear and Kaito did not chase after her.

Asuka chased after Misora, Misora confronted to Asuka that when they were still alive she was always the one who called Kaito and prepare meet up with each other. Kaito never seem to pay a lot of attention to her. So when they died, Misora want to test Kaito by making him chasing her.

Asuka was in a depressed mode for awhile until she was comforted by her mother. She visited Shizuka again and told her the truth of how Kei died. Obviously Shizuka did not believe that Kei was the one who told Asuka the truth so to make Shizuka believe that Kei is still “alive” she started making the special egg that as Kei’s flavors in it. When Shizuka ate the egg she finally believes Kei is still around.

The truth is that Atsu likes Shizuka and the date with Kei was actually not a date. When Atsu asked Kei if Shizuka liked anyone, out of jealousy Kei lied that her sister likes someone else. That is why Atsu immediately moved away. The door bell rang and in coming were Atsu and Kaito. Atsu apologized that he didn’t know how much Shizuka has suffered.

While Kaito and Asuka were together, Asuka finally have the courage to confess her love to Kaito. She happily confessed and smiled when she said she’ll give up as she think Kaito still likes Misora. Asuka walked away burst out in tears. After a little thinking Kaito came chasing after her, Kaito also expressed his feelings by hugging her tightly.

YAY! Kaito and Asuka is finally together!!! I feel happy and sad at the same time because they are together and I’m sure they’ll suffer a lot because Kaito is not human. I’m so eager to watch the next episode!

OMG! I never expected a kiss coming. This is why I want to see it so badly!
