Without noticing first episode was out already, last night I just finish watching the first episode of it. Rating for the first episode is already 21.2%, beating Kimura Takuya’s CHANGE. With Yamashita Tomoshisa and along two rising star Aragaki Yui and Toda Erika the show has already capture the heart of the audience. Along with the theme topic of the drama, based on Japan’s proposal for an emergency medical service using helicopters to quickly reach those in needs.
The first episode reminds me of the TVB dramas (such as Healing Hands), it’s like starting off with a busy scene and yet they couldn’t care much of the newbies. Aizawa Kousaku, Shiraishi Megumi, Hiyama Mihoko and Fuikawa Kazuo are trainees for flight doctor. Each of them were splitted up to take care of different jobs, Mihoko’s job was to contact the patient’s family or relatives, Kazuo’s job was to take care of a 15 years old girl who will need to take an operation to chop her arm off. I think Kousaku and Megumi just take care of other patients not particular one.
Kuroda Shuji who is a flight doctor is taking care of these new trainees, he decided to choose one trainee on the helicopter to help out. The job was given to Megumi, when she was on the helicopter she was nervous and when she got to the patient she couldn’t do anything but be afraided. After that the job was given to Kousaku and he showed a great individual of himself as a doctor to Shuji.
The first episode talked about the ups and downs of each trainees (except for Kousaku as he doesn’t have any) when taking care of their job.
So when did Yampi has this nice abs? Or maybe it’s me not noticing as I’m not a big fan of Yamapi but he really got a sexy body now. His hair this time makes him look more mature but his hairstyle reminds me of Keita Tachibana, I pretty like it.
The episode ended with Kousaku saying he wanted to be a famous doctor, which was a catch. I’m guessing the ratings for this drama will keep around 20% for the next episode as well and the story will be more challenging for the trainees and more deeper feelings of them.

Seriously, if they’re gonna show yamapi’s half naked body at the start, they should at least show gakki’s full naked body at the start as well. Where is the equality these days?
