So when people just finished watching Last Friends and has done so many reviews of it I have just started watching this series. I didn’t expect this one to be that good as I was just practically looking at the ratings and during this period of time I wasn’t interested in jdrama too much so I just ignored it. But as I see the rating increasing and much more positive comments from other blogs I decide to watch this as well.
I just finish episode 1 & 2 and I’m already hooked on to it. Damn! This drama is so intense, it sure has a lot of tension between each of the character and it seem like each characters is hiding something from everyone. I must say the start of episode 1 is so-so, looks like a happy-go-around drama with Michiru and Sosuke happily together. Then everything suddenly changed when Michru and Sosuke started living together, where one night Michiru woke up finding Sosuke checking her mobile phone. That part totally turn over of the whole drama and I must say Nishikida Ryo did a really good job in acting this character Sosuke.
Right at the end of episode 1 Ruka kissed Michiru which tells us that Ruka loves Michiru. I kind of knew already from the point where they meet back, otherwise Ruka wouldn’t chase after Michiru when she saw a glimps of her on the street.
Episode 2 continued with this intense feel in it as Sosuke exposed more of his volience towards Michiru. And revealed something about Takeru while they were watching a love movie, but we also see that Takeru has develop some sort of feelings towards Ruka.
Sosuke just gets scarier each episode, with Michiru suddenly found her photo album at Sosuke’s house even worst was that Ruka’s name was crossed. He then started to take more control in Michiru by forcing her not to see any other man except him. Right at the end of episode 2 Ruka finally found out what Sosuke has done to Michiru.
This drama is interesting, such as rare topic for Japanese drama. Also need to mention that the theme song is awesome, Prisioner of Love by Utada Hikaru I’m totally addicted to this song. I’ll be continue to post more about Last Friends.

I think its too angsty and deep, but it touches issues that not many dare. Sad that it was too draggy and some issues weren’t really addressed, like Takeru’s backstory.
